The majority of those "interracial" marriages are White/Latino marriages, and in such marriages the individuals involved may not necessarily be of different races.

In general, it is a very good thing that CA leads the nation in interracial marriages. They are a good way to reduce racial and ethnic tensions in society. MOD CUT

Unless people want to put Some Other Race, a racial category which is overwhelmingly Latino, along with the other groups, I would say White/Other represent a great proportion of interracial marriages in California and in the USA, mainly in the West. You can even look it up on WikiPedia and check the stats.

BTW, I thought that diversity was our strength. However, if everybody married somebody of a different race until there were no more distinctive races on this planet, then wouldn't that make us weaker since we've lost diversity?

Yet EVERY MONTH someone has to drag this issue from its grave and open it up to the same haters over and over again. Having been in an inter racial marriage since before the Supreme Court Decision I am disgusted enough that Governor Christie wants to hold Civil Rights for a vote is disgusting.
