Now that you got that out of the way, why not try and have some kids. I don't mean adopt, I mean have a child as in get pregnant and give birth and introduce that child into the loving family.

Still remember that some people may poke fun at things that you take seriously. Life is not that serious. I do remember reading somewhere that when someone is as defensive about things it is many times because they know that what they are doing is wrong. So sad for you to think that.
