I've lived in both (Bay Area and OC), and I find it hilarious anyone thinks traffic in San Jose is "better" than anywhere else. That's laughable.

I like them both. I lived within 45 minutes of San Jose for over ten years and enjoyed running up there for shopping and night's out. I've always had fun in Orange County. I would probably choose Santa Clara County just for familiarity's sake and proximity to family in NorCal.

I-5 is ridiculous in OC, all the time. At least in SJ, you have options if one or several freeways are clogged.

Yea add in all the people in santa clara county who come from other countries and bring their awful driving habits with them.

They dumb down the dmv test so these people can drive. In nyc, boston, chicago, these people would never be allowed behind the wheel, for the good of society.

Fastlane does not exist in santa clara county because everyone fresh off the boat is going 40 in the fast lane.

Santa Clara County has some of the worst traffic in the state. At least in South OC it's small enough to just take surface streets from Irvine all the way to San Clemente in a reasonable amount of time.

Not only the Fullerton PD but the Huntington Beach and Anaheim departments have had police brutality problems for a long time. HBPD are known as the nastiest department in SoCal. There was actually a RICO prosecution against the HBPD - unique in California.

OC's not going to change overnight but it's going to have to go through some bad times before it sees the errors of its ways. As things stand right now it is in major denial.

Well, that's cool man. I'm sure when those riots happen in OC in 2097 over the illegal immigration of Uranus Colonist, hopefully you'll be around to say you were right!

Former LAPD chief William Parker, perhaps the worst Angeleno who ever lived, used to boast about how riots could never happen in LA.

Needless to say Watts caught him by surprise....

Yeah, right in the middle of the civil rights movement, who would've guessed that could have happened? Total shocker.
