Do NOT base your rankings on "liking" San Francisco but living in the outer East Bay 50 miles away, etc.

Here are the 5 cities that I listed from the most populated to the least; relist them in order from your most desirable to least desirable based on what your personal criteria are.

Los Angeles
San Diego
San Jose
San Francisco
Sacramento
I don't like living in a city/town that is really crowded with horrible traffic. I like to visit them, but not live in them. So, that affects my choices. I've also lived in Sacramento and didn't like it. There are nice things to do there, but I didn't like living there. And it's too hot!

I haven't been in San Diego for many years, so my idea of what it would be like to live there now may be fantasy. But, here goes:

San Diego (good climate, lots to do, beach)
San Jose (lived in Santa Clara, and like that area, 30 mins to beach)
San Francisco (if I have to be in a crowded city with terrible traffic, this would be my choice hands down. I love SF)
Sacramento (only because I hate LA more)
Los Angeles (rude people, crazy traffic)

San Diego - My favorite American city.

Los Angeles - My second choice in California, and it keeps me close to the OC.

San Jose - Large Vietnamese population, which I love. The disadvantage is that I like the SoCal weather better.

Sacramento - Eh, why not?

San Francisco - If I wanted to live in New York, Jr., I'd move to Philadelphia.

San Francisco - East Coast city in the West

San Diego - ideal climate

Sacramento - vastly underrated

San Jose - The OC of the Bay - seems chill.

Los Angeles - Too spread out
