Yes, when the Republican party decides to change.

Kind of like how the Democratic party went from the party of slavery, segregation/Jim Crow, eugenics, etc. to the party that supported civil rights in the 60s, and how the Republican party was the party of abolition in the 1800s, and was the progressive party under Teddy Roosevelt, then decided to woo the dixiecrats in the 60s.

Hell they voted for Schwarzenegger twice so just because Jerry Brown is doing a good job right now does not mean that the voters won't swing right sometime in the future.

jerry brown is a con man. He helped get the economy straightened out I thought and then as soon as the economic pictures were looking good he went psycho on spending.

You're wrong. Brown's actually pretty restrained on spending matters relatively and has warned legislators not to get too spendy:

Why I would like to see a real conservative (I.e. Ted Cruz or Rand Paul) win. I somewhat understand that in order to get the moderate and somewhat liberal votes the GOP has to get a moderate conservative to run. The social issues kill the Republican Party.

Except studies show who's leaving California is mostly the poor. You can look it up, not on Breitbart. And, while you are looking, pay attention to actual research studies, not opinion blogs.

Default Cite your studies?

Just because a source doesn't match your political lean, doesn't mean it is without fact. If you had actually read the article, you will see the data is from the Hoover Institution and other Universities. I am sure you would rather read the Brookings Institute for a more leftist view, but the statistics do show that the middle class makes up the majority of those leaving.

“Not only are Californians leaving the state in large numbers, but the people heading for the exits are disproportionately middle class working families — the demographic backbone of American society.”

So cite your studies.
