Well I am definitely ahead over the last 6 days for sure. Already exceeded the 11 hours above.

Good on you! It's been cold and wet here so I've been hibernating. I went for a long walk over the weekend between rain storms but that's about it for me, other than that my outside adventures have consisted of walking to the mailbox or the car

Well your disdain for that bill at least makes me less curious about why/how you chose your user name

What makes you think I have disdain for that bill?

Yeah, what happened is totally on the federal government. Thanks to Ted Kennedy and senators Hart and Cellar, plus a basically unguarded southern border for decades we have about 75-80 million more people in this Country that we really didn't need.

I knew a family who left my small Mississippi town for California in the mid-1980s. I’m not sure if the father (a mechanic) received a job offer or decided to take a chance on finding employment. I thought the era of anyone going to California and quickly getting a job was over by then. Anyway, the father died of a heart attack a few years later while he was still in his 40s, but his family stayed in California.
