Give me $1,000,000 and I'd buy a mansion elsewhere and place the rest into my 401k give me $5,000,000 and I'd move there in a heartbeat pretty much sums it up for me.

I love California....I love the Diversity,the Scenery,the Weather,the Opportunities,the New Ideas,the Laidback Lifestyle.

I've always said that California is like meshing all the other 49 states into one,so living here is kinda like experiencing what every other state offers in one way or another....California is such an Amazing Place

I love Cali, lived there nearly all my life, but the state has been run into the ground. Crumbling infrastructure, a joke of a public education system, out of control legislature, completely overrun with illegal immigrants, brutal taxation, did I already mention the inept state government?

California has become dominated by so many extreme idiots with no real care or concern for its future that things have become unbearable there. CA was a great place before the enviro-hippies, union thugs, and the leaders of the Mexican-Socialist Reconquista movement took over.

If you must move to CA, stick to the Central Coast (roughly Camarillo to Monterrey) or the Bay Area.
