My father was also with this group with Lockheed. I have a perfect condition memory book called "The Scribbler" with my fathers name on the front and signatures of those he served with. Many signatures have addresses. Does this help anyone. I would also like to know more about what they did there.

There was also a mechanical a sgt Petersen or Peterson coming from Landford .
I would like to trace these men or their family to learn more .
Thank you to help .

Default L.o.c.

My father was the Chief Pilot at LOC Langford Lodge during WW2. If you go to the Ulster Aviation web site you will see a photo of him using the #2 engine propeller as a writing surface for a post flight notation, circa 1942.
I have an LOC brochure from the time with photos of living quarters, engineering, metalworking and my Dad on the last page in front of a P-38.
Contact my email and i will get in touch with you when i get back to the States.
Regards,
George

My step-father, Russell Julian "Budd" Lloyd, sailed on the Queen Mary from Glourock, Scotland on June 4, 1944 to New York, NY on June 23, 1944. He was listed on the ship's "List of U.S. Citizens" at an employee of LOC, along with many, many others. I'm afraid that's all I've got.

Default Locheed Overseas Employees

My father Nathaniel R Terry was employed by LOC from 8/16/43 according to his LOC ID badge. He was a mechanic and from what I understand was to oversee repairs on all of the planes before they were allowed to go out again. I can only assume from what I read online is that he may have been at Langford. Was this the only airfield that LOC employees were involved with? I would be interested in digital scan or information if he was in the year book mentioned here. Also scans of the photos you have access to? Just trying to figure out exactly where he was during that time.. Any information would be appreciated.

My father Bert W. McIntyre was also in England and Ireland as an employee for Lockheed during WWII. I have a memory book with many posts and signatures that I could scan. Tell me where you would like them sent? Also any pictures you might have I would love. My father worked several times for Lockheed after the war as a consultant. He was an amazing engineer.
