In this case the trailer is a pickup truck bed and the Slide In can travel in it much like a RV trailer.

As a CDL driver, and witnessed many camper accidents, ... this looks seriously dangerous!
A very low tandem axle trailer might help a lot, but overhead campers are very top heavy and not well load balanced, and that pic is NOT gonna have the brakes or equalizer hitch to safely carry an overhead camper at highway speeds..
My similar solution is quite acceptable (and safe), but is NOT a FSC camper..
I Use my 'Snowbear' Utility trailer with a Toyota camper shell (Cap) that is hinged for easy space / access, similar to a pop-up tent trailer but only $400, and much lighter (behind my 52 mpg Passat TDI wagon that goes 1200 miles between fills). Sometimes it also hauls my Genset welder, and often logs / firewood. It tips for driving my small tractor / mower, it tows beautifully. (I also used it as a hearse to haul my dad's body / casket 2500 miles to bury). I'm building an extended tongue for 24' long loads... rebar, irrigation pipe, trusses, beams, steel pipe...) $400 used (Buy the version sold at Costco (2200#) vs the Home Depot version (1600#)
