^^^Nice pics, Southern Saskatchewan is an interesting place. Hope I get a chance to explore it someday, I don live that far away. I would like to get out to wood Mountain where the famous Native chief Sitting Bull once lived.

Definitely do. If you like places with some history behind them, Batoche is pretty amazing, too.

My favorite place in Canada is the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. My family roots are there (loyalists - ugh! - from Boston). But to live there -- at least pre-retirement -- would likely involve poverty, boredom, and a gradual descent into alcoholism and/or gas huffing.
I'm one of those rare Nova Scotians who could give a toss about ships and oceans and lobsters and goes catatonic when the crowd breaks out into a sea shanty. Give me farms, pastures, quiet lakes, and dense canopies of trees.
