We were just in Prince Edward county for a family gathering. Its a lovely place with lots of nice restaurants, wineries and beautiful scenery (saw more lilacs in bloom than I have seen in my entire life). Its a nice trip from Toronto or Ottawa which I am sure many of you are aware. What struck me was the high lake levels. My son was there a few months ago and he was stunned how high they were and many things he did were inaccessable now. From what I understand these are record levels and we saw lots of flooded yards and even sandbags. Seems like global warming is affecting more than just Florida.

The further north you go the more starkly pronounced the evidence there is of the effects of climate change. If you think what's happening around Lake Ontario is something to comment about, you should look up what's happening in all the northern parts of Canada's provinces and all other countries around the world that are in the northern hemisphere and fall within the Arctic Circle.
