I wish it was permanent. I only changed one clock to Standard Time. I love the nights with dusk still lingering on the horizon at 11pm. I'm a night owl - not one of those crazy morning people.

I'm with Netwit on this for the same reasons and more. I'd like to see DST become the permanent standard time around the whole world and stay that way. Like Yukon and most of Saskatchewan are already doing. Either that or else keep it on the present standard time year round and all the people can permanently re-arrange their schedules and the times that people go to work, school and other daily business. The stars and sun and moon won't care, neither will the earth and nature. They don't keep daily time. Humans are the only beings that keep time.

Let's have Daylight Savings Time forever !!! Yeah !!!

We should do whatever the States does with this. We have most of the same time zones besides Atlantic and Newfoundland time. If they drop it, we should. If they keep it, so should we. Having our markets operational at the same time is good for business

Health experts say permanent standard (winter) time is better and I agree.

That would be my choice too, though I'd settle for splitting the difference and setting the clock 1/2 hour ahead permanently.

It should be coordinated with other countries, otherwise all schedules will be messed up.

I don't care one way or the other. Resetting clocks, and losing an hour of sleep, or gaining an hour of sleep twice a year is a minor inconvenience. It doesn't even rise to the level of crossing multiple time zones when flying.

What I do like is being able to play a full 18 holes of golf after work in the summer. DST allows me to do that.
