They're not in the middle of nowhere, but you can see it from there.

List makes no sence, whats the difference between Toronto and Mississauga or Missauga and Oakville? They are all in the general metropolitan area.

Yeah they had toronto, mississauga, oakville, burlington and hamilton. Those are all beside eachother (in that order)
My grandma lives in burlington, and i do think it's nice. They have a great waterfront, and it's pretty affordable and less than an hour from downtown toronto.

I've never seen a Macy's in Canada....am I missing something?

There is a HUGE difference my friend, never mind the 1+ hour commute.

I am from Toronto, and would never seek to live in Mississauga and I'm sure that some people out there would never seek to live in Toronto. Real estate prices vary vastly in these areas.

No, you're on the ball. I think whoever quoted Macy's wasn't really thinking specifically about Canada.

There are a lot of shops that exist in the USA that don't in Canada, and vice versa. Macy's is one of them.

^ Nelson is a bit too small to be included, the ranking only includes places with a population of 10,000 or more.
