I recently found that their customer service was incompetent and cancelled them after a very short time. Really?

I honestly watch VERY FEW commercials because I record almost everything I might want to watch and then fast-forward through the commercials. Who needs to spend 4-hours watching less than a 2-hour football game?

However, occasionally I catch a commercial and find the Liberty Mutual Insurance commercials among the most annoying! The stupidity of the pretense that every insurance policy should automatically insure full replacement value, regardless of what one pays for it ... is aggravating.

Of course, there are many other commercials that rely on sheer audience ignorance --- along with a plethora of commercials that use emotion evoking scenes and music that have NOTHING to do with the product. Perhaps commercial product guessing could be turned into a game: Turn-off the sound and see who can guess what product is being sold first ("I can name that product in 20-seconds!").

They have added a jingle at the end of every commercial. And they have also added many trees next to and left of the statue. In reality they don't exist.

Kindred spirit. I thought I was the only one who did that.

I don't think much of the Liberty Mutual commercials but some insurance commercials are fun to watch:

Allstate's mayhem commercials.

Nationwide's life comes at you fast, especially the boat going through the roof of the house.

All available on youtube.

Farmer's "we've seen a lot of things", like the moose tearing up the camper van.

This spot was filmed in a studio with the actors filmed in front of a green screen. You will notice different angles of lady Liberty in each of the commercials but the same background rails. It was created in post production. There is no pier this close to get this shot. Plus, notice there is no harbor sounds, Or Seagulls laughing. So now you know!
