Olivia is georgeous! It wasn't until today I realized cat's pupils were horizontal slits?? So had to look it up.
Apparently it's due to cats usual nocturnal foraging needs.. so they can see better in dim light and night time. That could explain why they often end up in one's basement when seeking their alone time.
Anyway, TY for posting her pic's because at my advanced age still LEARNED something new
I've never been a cat lover, however have never had any problems sealing with them. I always felt that cats were in their own world. Some were more friendly than others.. while other's preferred being left alone. I have always respected any animal that didn't want touching or smothering type of contact.. Let them be and do their thing was my motto But seeing such a enlarged closeup of Olivia and seeing her eyes enabled me to understand their nature !!
