Make your Vinny an indoor cat. I promise you he will settle down with that. I had 3 indoor/outdoor cats - we moved to SO Cal where there were coyotes that would come close to the house. My dogs had to be in a dog run when the had to go outside. The cats who by now 10+ years old - got used to being house cats and never went outside again - even after we left SO Cal. When I moved to TX in 2018 all our cats and dogs had passed away - We got a puppy and I got 2 kittens. They got along just fine. I added a puppy a few months ago and he wants to get to know the cats - but they won't have anything to do with him LOL.
Well it's over. I haven't spoken to her despite reaching out another time. The cat is no longer there and I'm assuming she put it down and that's why she's not speaking to me. She blames me. Sucks that it happened (cat was old with medical issues anyways) but I'm relieved that now my cats can go outside in my own yard without being attacked.
