Call the cops and get a police report on file. Take photos of your injuries just in case. Then, go see the doctor! You should probably be on antibiotics. Cat bites are nothing to take lightly, and infection can move quickly!

I fortunately don't have any injuries because all he got was my pants. So I have no real proof and of course my ring only caught half of what happened. If I had gotten any, I would have text her the pictures as well. She hasn't responded to my text and I'm waiting to see how this is going to play out.

YOU need to make a decision. This cat is attacking not only your cat but you! Obviously your neighbor doesn't care. Maybe her cat "disappears"? (Obviously an outdoor cat so dropping off in another neighborhood....people would feed a stray and maybe take it in). I bet you anything she would blame you AND maybe make a police report. So, what are you waiting for? Call Animal Control. Better yet, go to the Doctor and maybe they will contact AC if you need rabies shots? Or else enclose your yard all the way or make your cat an indoor cat. Do you rent? Is she a renter? Let the landlord(s) take care of it.

I wouldn't be putting up with this as long as you have. And as for "friendship", if she does not work with you from now on, I'd have nothing to do with her.

We both own. I'm finishing the cat fence this Sunday. Between weather and me being very sick I haven't been able to do anything.

She also never responded to my text

I'd be inclined to make a report, whether to the cops or animal control or whoever's the appropriate authority.

All that's needed is for the cat to attack and damage a child not big enough to defend himself. I'd get something on the record. Your neighbor clearly doesn't care about anyone but herself. So someone else needs to care. Animal Control, Cops, someone.

I once reported a neighbor who left his dog out in freezing freezing weather New Year's Eve, while he and his home boys were inside living it up. The poor dog whined and howled for hours. Talk about heartless.

Guy never spoke to me again, he was rather hostile after Animal Control visited. But people like that don't make good friends anyway. OR good neighbors. Some people are just a holes.

Our former next door neighbor hated squirrels. He had oak trees and the squirrels, of course, collected and buried tons of nuts. So Dick would trap scads of squirrels, 10, 20, whatever. Then, as they used to say in the mobster movies, he'd take them for a long ride in the country. Long ride, 20 miles anyway. Then he'd release them into some very rural woods.
Problem solved. Temporarily.

It sounds like her cat needs medication of some sort. Maybe she can take him to the vet to get neutered.

So, her cat actually attacked me the other day when I was walking it to the fence to get out of my yard. It didn't break my skin because I had pants on thankfully. I immediately text her and no response. I've text her two more times and still no response.
