Perched on his cat tree at the open window, watching anything that moves outside.
Last night he saw a rabbit on the front lawn and tried to leap through the screen at it. I swear I saw a look of disappointment on his face when he didn't succeed!
I hope you gave him toys to vent all his frustration on!

It's not good for him to keep all his frustration bottled up inside after a disappointment like that!
Much better to work it all out during a spate of hard play!
In the last 24 hours one of the two cats has been under a bed, in an overstuffed closet, and on top of her perch she can jump to from the bed to the bookcase to a filing cabinet on to a "ladder" set of boxes on the bureau.
Running to the sound of the automatic kibble dispenser dropping kibble. He gets half a can of wet food twice a day. he gets plenty of exercise as he gets the "zoomies" several times a day.
