Mr. "Bucket" had the patience of a saint dealing with Hyacinth. Even though it was merely a role, I actually felt sorry for the poor man.

He carried it off well.

This leaves only Elizabeth (Josephine Tewson), Daisy (Judy Cornwell), and Emmet (David Griffin), and of course Patricia Routledge who were part of main original cast still with us. Onslow, and both actresses that played "Rose" both have passed on.

Of the recurring cast members the vicar (Jeremy Gittins), and his wife (Marion Barron) are still with us,

Poor guy. Hyacinth probably took 10 years off his life.

Yes, and Patricia Routledge is the oldest ....she turns 90 this year.

Love “Keepng Up Appearances” ....I have the complete series on DVD.

Clive Swift was great as Richard, he was perfect in that role.

Josephine Tewson who played Elizabeth on Keeping Up Appearances has died yesterday Aug 19, 2022. She was 91. RIP Josephine and Thank you and all the cast members of this wonderful TV show, that keeps giving and giving in repeats across the globe. I catch it whenever I see it listed on PBS. I miss it when its not on. Only 45 episodes of this Program but I could watch them over and over again, and never tire of its characters.
