OMG! What on earth is it going to take to make these people go away. I dont watch their stupid show - but they are now infiltrating my legitimate TV shows - including the Today show etc (okay maybe marginally legitimate). Anyway - they need to go - please!
I thought Jon came out OK on the Primetime show. What he had to say about Kate was blatently obvious to anyone who has watched their show. She's a cold fish who has alienated all their friends and relatives.
I don't know if the jailbait girl Jon is dating is going to turn out to be the love of his life, but bless his heart, he deserves a little joy.
What bothered me the most was the bad talking Jon did about the mother of his children. It was interesting to hear that they had already seen Dr. Phil, and Dr. Phil wouldn't elaborate about their meeting when asked.
Kids are not dumb. They can see for themselves what was going on. I hope they are not dragged further between the two parents and made to think they need to choose sides. I was already surprised Mady or Cara said, "Mom's not here. We can do whatever we want now." during the last TLC show.
I already see Kate changing her persona... and hopefully it is towards a happier and better future for everyone with less hurt.

Agree. I stopped watching the show because I could not take the way he "allowed" her to put him down in front of the cameras.
BTW, I can't see her with any man who is not able to take abuse from his partner/spouse. The Donald and Kate....I can't stop laughing
I thought it was interesting when Jon was whining about how he had to stay in the apt. over "HIS" garage because Kate wouldn't let him live in "HIS HOUSE" but "HE still had to make the mortgage payments".
If I'm not mistaken, don't Jon and Kate always make a big deal out of saying that the house is FOR THE KIDS???
I do think Kate put Jon down A LOT. I also think Jon deserved it and allowed it. There were supposed to be a "team" but when one team member doesn't do his share, the other team member has to pick up the slack and this leads to resentment.
Jon said that Kate put him down for the last 10 years but I'd be willing to bet that it began after the 6 babies were born and Kate realized that she couldn't do it alone and the ONLY WAY to get Jon to do anything was to force him to do it.

what we are seeing is an immature person formerly ruled by mom that became a 9th child to the woman that made a big mistake picking him as a husband/father,thus making her bitter and resentful(a very human response )--i am sure he was as rude to her off camera(it's never one sided)
poor kids--i hope the judge takes his attitude and lifestyle into consideration when he awards custody and divides the monies---his bitterness towards the mother and his leaving them with babysitters on his supposed weekend timeswill be such a negative impact on the kids-----not to mention having his family over to babysit and then getting hurt---what's with that--r they seeking to sue thus taking more money from the kids?

Jon is a poor excuse right now. Had he taken the higher road, he may have come off a little better. He hasn't hid any of his meanderings after the separation or before the divorce will be or already has been final. Even if Kate did have an affair with her bodyguard, who would know? It's all speculation. None of Jon's running around is. He's posed for most of it.
He is a passive/aggressive. Easily seen and easily sympathetic to when you are as well or don't have all the facts.
Mature men who are 30-somethings (not to mention the father to eight children) don't revert back to their pre or active college years and date very early 20-somethings unless they feel they missed out on those precious years. Unless Kate hog-tied Jon into marrying her, having children and renewing vows recently, Jon is coming off as a big jerk despite Kate and all of her shortcomings.
And to those who infer that those who dislike Jon and feel for Kate are also in bad marriages are kidding themselves. Don't take your bad marriage or bad divorce or bad situation out on those who can read between lines and see that Jon really was and continues to be a jerk.

Well said. Jon is a jerk; Kate's got a lot of problems as well and has contributed greatly to the decline of this relationship (as well as the issues the kids will have growing up).
They both need to go away quietly for the sake of their children.
