Any surprises? I thought Sprint had the honors? I am currently with Sprint now and have had no complaints regarding their service. Like anything else your opinions will vary.
I was impressed by the distance between ATT and the other Big 3 providers. It was huge.
Ditto on Sprint. They are not perfect, had a couple of lingering data service dips recently, but my interactions with customer service have been very good.
But Sprint is only 1 point off from Verizon the Number One National Carrier.....I think that shows damn well for Sprint from where they used to be in AT&T's current spot....
We just got iPhones so we had to switch from Sprint to AT&T. Sprint provided good service. So far, no problems with AT&T either. I use the free cover Apple provided, but my husband does not. When we had a land line, we did not like Verizon's customer service.
Not surprising to me. I've always been preaching that Verizon is the best quality, but Sprint is the best value. Tmobile surprised me to be honest even being second last. Thought it was the worst.

Verizon landline and Verizon Wireless are too completely separate companies even though the name makes you think differently.

Of the big 4 they have their pluses and minuses.
T-mobile-great prices, shotty reception,ok cust svc.
Sprint-very good prices,decent reception,good cust svc.
VZW-best reception,higher prices,best cust svc.
AT&T-high prices,ok recep,ok cust svc,I-Phone.
***When AT&T loses the exclusive right to the I-Phone, they will be doomed. The simple point is that they are the same price as VZW, their reception is not even close, and customer service isn't as good. The I-Phone is the only thing holding them above water for now.***

I am one of those IPhone users who will likely switch. I am tired of waiting for AT&T to upgrade their 3G network in my area. Not sure who I will switch to, maybe Verizon, maybe one of the others, but I can't get very good reception from AT&T and as far as I am concerned, they have had time to fix their problems and haven't. Free enterprise system, you snooze, you lose. I wished Apple had not made that deal in the first place.

Apple's first choice was Verizon, but Verizon wasn't agreeing to sharing the service profits with Apple. Unfortunately, it was AT&T that they settled with.
