It was breezy and cool last night, slept with the windows open and woke up to the song of a bird. This morning was still great, breezy and cool at 76 degrees when I took the dogs out. At work now 'til noon, then will be out in the yard working for the upcoming Independence Day cookout!!

If you live here, get out and enjoy it...if you don't, you are missing a beautiful day in beautiful Charleston!! Come visit!

Yeah, I dug all my lantana up last weekend and transplanted...the dogs were eating it in the backyard, so had do move it to the front. Today's chore will be to transplant a 20+ year old camellia sasanqua...yikes, very big project. Getting off work, so off to it.

I put up a small electric fence to keep the dogs out of the garden years ago, it worked very well, now I don't even have to turn it on....

Gorgeous day yesterday! Best one (we) have had so far. Jay and Matthew spent the day cleaning up the garden, we had the windows/doors open all day, most importantly, the A/C off!! We also slept with windows open all night, lovely! Today was lovely too, but got a little humid towards the afternoon, hope tomorrow(today) is a low humidity day too.

Seen lots of fireworks in the neighborhood already, we may not even have to leave the house tomorrow! LOL

Holy cow! About midnight lastnight had to break out the long sleeve's. Yes in JULY! WOAH! It got down to 62 here. After being 900 for the past 3 weeks, it felt 'chilly' ... Sheesh! I love it!!!!
Even gonna be cooler tonight ... What a great weekend! Thank you Mr Cold front!!!

Won't be leaving the subdivision tonight either ... Having a block party cookout (again) and one of the streets here is putting on a firework display. We did it last year too and it was an awesome sight.

Be safe all and have a BLAST ...
