So we are looking for a house and I am wondering if anybody can tell me if Archdale is a nice place? I know parts of N charleston are rough (like any other town) but is Archdale a bad part of town? And what about Hanahan?
thanks for any help!
It looks like we will be there in mid November!! We can't wait!
Cindy

We tried to buy two houses in Archdale because we really like the neighborhood. We live next door to the neighborhood in The Park right now. Archdale is the first subdivision in Dorchester county as well. So even though it's North Charleston, the school zones are the desireable Dorchester County. It's an older established neighborhood that is nice.

I live in a subdivision not far from Archdale -- nice place. The houses weren't exactly what we were looking for, but we liked the general area so much that we bought not too far away. It's convenient to the airport, Tanger Outlets, Northwoods Mall and all the shopping on Rivers Ave, I-26, etc., and is 10 miles closer to downtown Chas than Summerville.
