Currently there are no rentals available in I'on... they are hard to come by and go fast. You can have an realtor email you when a rental comes on the market, not sure when your planning on making the move.
Trust me, there are rental available in I'ON right now (I know of one without searching). If you are single and have connection, you can try to get a list of FOG for rent in I'ON, too, fit perfectly for a single person without too much stuff.

I am sure there are buy owner rentals (I guess check the paper and craigslist) but a FROG probably won't work for her- she has kids.

Are you sure she has kids? I read it as her being single, without children.

When I was living in Mt.P many years ago...A friend of mine and another girl I worked with both in the 34-36 range built homes in I'on as single ladies with no kids and now are both married. One has kids now and the other does not... It didn't happen overnite but it happened eventually

I really don't know what it's like living in the burbs surrounded by families with 2.5 kids. Does anyone know if there are other singles there?

I did locate a home in I'on for rent, so I just might take it for January and February. Again, thanks for all the comments. They have been very helpful!
