We're thinking of going to the Kennel Club dog show tomorrow at the Exchange Park in Ladson. We'll be taking my son, who is in a wheelchair.
I spoke to a woman there yesterday, who assured me the building was handicap accessible, and there are no ramps, that the doorways are ground level. Skeptic that I am, would love to hear from folks who have been there and seen it. The show will be in the Exhibit building and the creative arts center.
Exchange park should not present any problems. Its owned by the local Exchange Clubs & is were they hold the Lowcountry Fair evey year. So it is set up well for vendors rolling in temp supplies, people pushing strollers and should be fairly WC accessible because of that.
Most of the 'roads' and pathways in and around there are dirt so be wary of mud and goo while rolling around.....
