I am looking for some swimming pools and some swimming classes...I am yet to swim in deep waters and learn some skills although I can swim technically.
I find a pool at the Y in Summerville. Its alittle far and I am not so keen on a membership there only for the pool.
Are there other pools in the Goose Creek area? I see a Crowfield pool. Is that open to people not living in that area? does anyone have information on that, or a similar pool nearby?
Most of the neighborhood pools like Crowfield require you to first live in that area then purchase a membership, unless it is covered under your HOA dues.
Call the Goose Creek Rec Center. I believe the Crowfield pool (the one at the Hamlets) can be used for a one time fee or each time fee (all done through the Rec Center). I don't know the exact fee or policy but the GCRC can help you with that. The Crowfield pool HOA fee is for the other pools in Crowfield and is for residents (additional pool fee on top of the HOA fee) but the Hamlet pool is different. It also may be seasonal and is outside.
