I always think that I may find something in the malls but once going in I absolutely regret my decision haha. Like I said, the clothing selection lacks so much. I only go in the malls to check out Express. I wish Dillard's was better. Other than that, I'm in that weird age group (24) where it's like I'm in between clothing store types. I can't order online as I need to try stuff on.
Let's just say I'm starting to love the shopping complexes in MP and Tanger for this reason.
I would consider Town Center a mall, just an outdoor one!
Indoor ones up North are okay, but I wouldn't say great. I've been to the King of Prussia mall and they claim to be the largest mall in the Eastern US, but they repeat stores several times. Seems like cheating! Not to mention, the two malls it is made out of aren't even connected!
Charleston's shopping is not that great............
I'm finding this out. I pretty much grew up in the lowcountry but lived in G'ville for a good while and have moved back to Summerville again. After living in Greenville and watching the constant growth, it makes me realize how stagnant the area is especially Summerville. It hadn't hardly changed at all in the 15 plus years I've been gone. Nothing much has changed and nothing much improved. Shopping in the upstate is tons better than down here for sure. ....but I did miss the fresh seafood and big oak trees and smells of the marsh. :-)
Hahahaha....I don't want to be caught wearing Hollister Forever 21 is even pushing it for me!
haha. You made me laugh out loud. I can relate and feel the same way. I even feel funny walking into Old Navy. The young people have Abercrombie and Fitch, what do older people have? Talbots? lol BTW, I like Talbots.
Try to shop locals to support our local businesses instead of the big box stores. Charleston has many locally owned shops that would love your business!
