If anyone has a recommended person that is a great tutor for a 8th grader having Algebra problems, please let me know. I am in the Goose Creek/Ladson area, and my child is at College Park Middle.
I have emailed the county, schools etc. But, I thought I would ask here for more personal recommendations.
Thanks

What part of Algebra is your child having issues with? While I do not know a tutor, you could always try Khan academy. Sometimes it helps to have things explained in a different manner. https://www.khanacademy.org/

I've used this site plenty of times well into college to brush up on a subject matter I had not used in a while.

Not sure but she is a very smart girl. I am thinking its just how the teachers perspective is. And a tutor may present it from a different angle.
I will look at the academy. Thanks

We may have found one. She is a teacher at the school that does Algebra, and does tutoring after hours. We are awaiting a follow up from her.

My wife has tutored in the past, and taught math in middle school here. But, we live in Charleston City - John's Island. Glad you have found one.

Yay! If you get into a bind and need something short term if it doesn't work out, let me know. My daughter is in pre-cal and in 11th grade.
