This is a trusted school rankings system that ranks all public schools in the US as well as lists many private schools. They have many lists you can drill down to find the info you're looking for, and in real estate, I use this website to direct my buyers where to research schools.

2 Out of the Top 5 High Schools in South Carolina are located in North Charleston!

Best High Schools in South Carolina - SC School Rankings

There's a lot of stigma attached to N. Charleston, a lot of which tends to be negative. So, here's something positive to consider when moving to Charleston.

The also have 3 of the Top 10 ranked Middle Schools.

None of the elementary schools made the top 10...

But still, kudos to North Charleston for making education a top priority!

I thought the Academic Magnet High School was a top school? Why don't I see it anywhere?

Yeah it's almost like a college campus, they treat is very much like a college. If you've never been by there, it's very business-like and not much to look at. They are in it for the education and the grades.

They're actually two different schools. They are only located near one another. Different principals, different student body, different schools. Frankly, any list that does not have Academic Magnet on it as a top SC school is suspect.

Via the website: "Academic Magnet High is not ranked due to insufficient test score data."

If you go to their website, you will notice that they consider the Magnet school and the Arts school one in the same. If you research the website they mention that there's no test score data for the magnet side of the school. Here's a link to the Academic Magnet School - Academic Magnet High School in North Charleston SC - SchoolDigger.com

They are off the charts SAT scores and 5 star rated by parents.

I'm open to suggestions as to websites that are more credible than schooldigger.com since this one is suspect in your eyes?

If you click the link on Academic Magnet school you will notice their test scores are 100%, meaning tops in SC.
