Crowfield is a very large community with several neighborhoods within. Also has a golf course within the community and schools within or close by. Located in Berkeley County, so taxes tend to be lower. Goose Creek area is growing fast. Google is building a data center nearby, so Goose Creek will become more popular as Google grows. Houses are prices anywhere from low $100's for condo/townhomes up to $900+ for a single family home

I haven't been in Cane Bay in awhile. Again, a new, large neighborhood with subsections. Not a lot of homes out there as of yet that I am aware. One large subsection is DelWebb which is an active-adult (55+) neighborhood that has its first homeowners moving in now. It is located about 10 minutes from the HWY17A and HWY 176 intersection.

Lots of building going on at Cane Bay. Del Webb is the largest community for sure, but there are other houses going up around Del Webb for considerably lower cost.

Many communities around here call themselves "plantation" but Crowfield really is. Crowfield is built on the ruins of one of the oldest plantations in the area, older than Middleton or Magnolia gardens. It spans a lake and miles of bike trails, several parks, pools, tennis, and of course, the golf.
Crowfield is so big that there are two elementary and middle schools, Westview and College park. Only the Hamlets is in CP, but Westview is the preferred school. All of Crowfield is Stratford High.

Does Crowfield have a seasonal population, or is it all year-rounders? Just wondering if there are many people using it as a secondary residence during the summer and/or winter.

Majority if not all of Crowfield are year rounder's. You mostly see the seasonal population downtown and along the beaches.

Almost all of the subdivisions with golf are full timers. Legend Oaks, Pine Forest, Crowfield & Coosaw.

I have seen an increase in seasonal rentals in townhomes in the area.
