Yes, I believe it. It is fact. Have you buried your head in the sand at Isle of Palms? Mexican restaurants are full of Illegals, undocumented workers, illegal aliens. What about that is absurd? It is the sad truth.

Tijuana Flats is a very cool place , with music, cool artistry on the walls, good food, and all legal workers from the United States!

Of Mexican heritage. I think Momma is from Mexico. and the recipes are traditional, which is what is truly important.

Studies show you have to be of at least 25% Mexican heritage or the salsa just won't turn out right.

Its all Americanized to some extent. Sour cream on a burrito? That's Taco Bell influence there.

Ever been to La Nortena?

"Since 2003 , La Nortena has served as the anchor “authentic Mexican cuisine” restaurant for the historic Charleston/N. Charleston area.
The award-winning restaurant, owned and operated by restaurateur Luis Aguirre owes much of its success to our loyal and dedicated restaurant family and to our biggest fans — you, our patrons.
Our menu combines traditional central region of Jalisco in the western-pacific area of Mexico. Dishes with authentic house specialties, all prepared with a contemporary twist. Guest favorites include shrimp nachos, fish tacos, ceviche, tacos callejeros, parrillas and specialty margaritas.

At “La Nortena” we believe in enjoying a meal from beginning to the end.

Moderator please close the thread. I started the thread about a cool American tex mex restaurant.
It's off topic now, and I don't want to keep hearing about places where there is nothing but illegal aliens working.

You do not know that to be true. How ugly and hateful. Not to mention against TOS.
