Moving to Mt Pleasant and need to set up cable (and phone and internet)...
I saw the Comcast ad offering a good deal for all 3, but saw reviews that the service
is poor (a lot of outages). I also noticed that once you begin signing up for the bundle
deal, you're required to ad other things to add to the price... Are there other cable
companies that service Mt P? Thanks for any advice!
Knology services part of Mount Pleasant, but not all of it. We had Knology for a while and loved them! Service was great and pricing was reasonable (although we bundled cable, internet, and phone, so we got a better deal).
Comcast sucks, IMO. We moved less than 1/2 mile from our old place, but apparently we moved out of Knology's service area, so all we can get now is Comcast, and we can't wait to move again so we can switch.
If you do end up with Comcast, put their service number on speed dial. They've been out to our place 3 times to fix the same problem with our cable reception, and we had major issues with getting our internet service working (and it STILL just intermittently disappears for no apparent reason, and they can't figure out why!)
I have comcast for internet and cable and am 95% with them. We rarely loose cable or Internet. I don't think Time warner is an option here in Mt P, but I have heard bad review on them too.... I also have direct tv for our NFL ticket adiction...
Thanks all! Sounds like Comcast is the only option other than Dish or Direct TV... since I'm renting a home for now, I don't think I can add the Satellite receivers to the home. Sunshine, I'll be in Park West and don't think Knology is an option there. (their site couldn't recognize my address).
Thanks!
