Don't worry, this summer is almost over...

Hey Pokrplr, today I saw a 'Yankee's Parking Only' sign in a garage when you make the first right in your development.

I'm pretty sure they meant the fans...

Yeah I almost lost control of the car the 1st time I saw it. Knew who right away, and not just because of all the cops walking in...

Hey - few questions for those living in Cane Bay:
We are trying to get my in laws to move down from Maine. How much are the houses in Cane bay (2 bed/ 2bath - nothing too fancy)? Are there any available that do not need to be built? What is the neighborhood like? is it friendly, lots of stuff to do, etc... Also, I noticed they are putting in a Harris Teeter near there as well as a Publix!! Does anyone know if there are plans to build up other areas near CB?
My in laws are going to be down in Sept. to look around. any other info that I could give them would be very helpful. Thanks!!

Looks like the base prices are starting in the low $150's...From what they (onsite agents) have told us is they are not building any more spec homes, so all the construction see going on there, are pre-sold homes...
The Neighboorhood is nice, we haven't met everyone yet but all the nighttime walkers and everyone we have run into seem very friendly. The amenity center should open within the next 10 days...Pool, tennis courts, playground for the kids...They are walking trails that still need to be finished...long term goal that place will be beautiful....
Canebay will be built over the next 20-30 years...Tons of construction will follow...Publix will set the first set of shopping that will be very close to us...The Harris Teeter is 4 miles away and all kinds of shops will be leased out...Will be similiar to Towne Centre in MT Pleasant...
