Can someone recommend a reputable teaching hospital in Charleston/Hilton Head area? We are relocating and need to be neara teaching hospital.

MUSC is an excellent academic medical center. In fact, it is the oldest in the South.

MUSC is located in downtown Charleston, perfect areas for you to consider moving to would be James Island, West Ashley, Mount Pleasant in order to be close. What are you looking for?
