I was considering looking there a while ago, but decided against it. I thought they were too pricey for what you got - I never did look at one in person, however. Sorry that I don't know anything specific about their build quality.
Also, I've heard from many that the commute to downtown is less than desirable if you work 8-5. Again, no personal experience with that either.
Do you know who the builder is? Maybe you could locate some info about the builder on the net. That's how I found some dirt on a tract home builder I was considering.
Another idea is to do a search for the business owner's name/business name on Charleston County.org Clerk of Court to see if they pay their bills on time, if they are a party in a lawsuit in Charleston County, etc. That may give you a better feel for their business practices.
