A middle class, black neighborhood in Charleston proper?
I would say none.
Areas that are predominantly black and middle class might be in North Charleston though just based on demographics with more blacks in N. Charleston.
So if you find a neighborhood there most likely your neighbors would be black.
With that said, I would think that the quality of the neighborhood, schools, traffic, crime rate etc might weigh more than the race of the people there, but hey, I'm an idealist !

That was my exact point, but I am just an old racist white guy......
No disrespect intended, but what you two find important in your neighborhood of choice is completely unimportant to me.
But to the few who tried to be helpful thank you.

And it's never an issue if you're white. *Every* middle-class neighborhood is a white neighborhood.
Christ, the guy just asked a question. Keep your racial politics out of the thread, and if you don't have a helpful comment, don't say anything. Is it that hard?
