I was looking at homes for sale today in the Mount Pleasant area (low budget) and noticed there are a ton of homes for sale that are in the same area off of Bus. 17. (street names are North and South Shadow Dr. and Rosemead). I was just curious to see if anyone knows any info about that area. To me, it seems like there must be something going on that so many homes within a small radius are on the market. Thanks.

I can only find 3 actives on those street the rest are under contract? Most of them are handy man specials/ foreclosures. I don't think there is anything going on but not as familiar with that neighborhood as others.

Rosemead and Hickory Shadows combined currently have 12 homes for sale. 5 of them are already under contract. The 1300+ sf home in Mt. Pleasant, close in, for under 200k, is a good find. Most need work, or are simply in neighborhoods that need work, but they certainly appeal to first time home buyers and investors.
