Hi, I'm looking for new townhomes or condos within 15-20 minutes of driving distance from the university area (UNC Charlotte). Where within this driving distance may be good neighborhoods with good schools (and of course the house value is appreciated)? I heard that Harrisburg or Concord areas may be good options? Any suggestions? Thanks very much.

There are some condos just in front/besides UNCC. I used to rent there, you may like to check them out.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'm not exactly sure, but I think these are only for rent, aren't they? I'd like to buy a new condo or townhome.

I would highly suggest the townhomes at Rosedale and Vermillion in Huntersville, Oakhurst in Cornelius, or the townhomes off Prosperity Church Rd in Charlotte. Good value, good prices, appreciation in those areas, and good schools.

There are nice new townhomes in Moss Creek in Concord, good schools, great amenities and lower taxes. PM me if you need any help.

Brand new condo's on Pitt School Rd in Concord. Some are maybe 3/4 done.
About a 10-15 minute drive to UNCC. I'd pick Concord over the actual UNCC area of Charlotte in a heart beat.

Also some great condo's in Harrisburg right off 49, near the new city center.
Those are a couple of years old though.

Eastfield, 15 minutes to UNCC. I think they call it Meeting Street? they look like european style 2 story townhouses, cute, 2-3 bedrooms, there is a lake there and walking to grocery stores.
