Hi everyone. Posted a bit ago about getting to the Mega bus loading spot. Just wondering if there is a bus from Northern Suburban Charlotte that runs to the Transportation Center or even the Charlotte Airport? Thanks!!!
There is a transit bus serving all of Charlotte and Mecklenburg county.
Can you give us specfic road and we can better assist on what specific bus number.
If you are talking about North Mecklenburg there are several Express bus lines and two CATS transit P&R lots that also connect to the local Village Rider.
Thanks everyone. I saw the schedules and all, but I am not from the area nor do I know intersections and the like. Coming from the Cornelius area to the Transport Center.

Use the route and schedule finder I posted and put in North Mecklenburg Express
The 77X route (The X stands for express route, less stops than the locals and mostly a more professional clientele) check inbound and scroll down to see times from Cornelius town hall, etc.
Check outbound and it will show from the Transportation Center.

Go to Google Maps. Click Get Directions. Put in your starting address and the "Charlotte Transportation Center" as the destination.
Select Transit as the method.
It will give you all you need to know. And if you have a supported phone you can even see yourself move on the map while inside the bus so you'll know where stops are in real time.

Just what I needed everyone . Don't know why I didn't think about the transit option on google. Oh, I know why, because I drive everywhere!! There is no public transit where I live.
Funny, we live not to far from the Northcross Park and ride (77x stops there on the way to Charlotte) but it took us a lot of time and effort before we discovered it. I don't know why, don't recall our exact process of looking for information but we tried taking a different bus from a different location before we "discovered" the very close very convenient park and ride. Once you figure it out it is very reliable and convenient.
