I was going to post this in the last UCPS thread, but was thwarted by the fact it was closed, presumably because of the snarky behavior that was taking over. I hope civility will reign on this thread.

This list is dated mid-July, but I'm not sure I've seen it referenced here on the city-data forum.

Union County schools are great in my book. Both my kids got great education and we couldn't be happier. Kudos to UCPS in scoring at the top!

This list proves that throwing huge amounts of money at the school system, has little effect on test scores. Of course those who continue to push for higher and new taxes for schools, never wish to address this point.


It's also pretty damning to the unreasonable and irrational criticism lobbed against the UC BOE that stops just short of calling them El Engendro del Diablo. Instead, the BOE has been pretty good stewards of the school system despite the poor planning of the BOCC and town councils. The results speak for themselves.
