If the driver had stayed in the right lane, IMO, the cop would have never pulled that final stunt.
I know you used the phrase "IMO," but seeing as how you criticized me for not being convinced of what I thought would have happened, I took that to mean you were convinced that your opinion was what would have really happened.
Sounds like you did:

And you are ignoring the context of that. I did make a mistake in biting that bait. How could you have missed this?

He passed the cop and wanted the cop to know it by crossing all those lanes again. That IS a provocation.
I will repeat what I said earlier. It amazes me at how few seem to understand this.
"We can't control the other driver as much as we might wish to do so. We can only control our reactions to the other driver."
Hogwash. If the driver had stayed in the right lane, IMO, the cop would have never pulled that final stunt. You are divining intent with very little information.
IMO?!? Pray tell frew, who else's opinion might you be channeling?
Your flouncing and flailing is a sad sight to see. If, if, if, if... Well if ifs and buts were candy and nuts...
Whether or not both parties are jerks is immaterial. Only ONE of the jerks, a sworn law enforcement officer, put lives in danger with DIRECT, DOCUMENTED actions. And that's what I've commented on. It's YOU divining intent, and you only. No matter how much you ape my words.
I understand your frustration though. It must be tough for you, what with having the Answer to Life, the Universe and Everything. 42, FTW!
Yes. That's just a longer version of what I quoted. It's also incorrect, seeing as how I already pointed out that the driver did not get back into the left lane until prior to passing another vehicle, although I did admit that he probably could have waited a bit longer before doing so. Regardless, he did not "travel back across 3 lanes to get in front of the cop" as you claim. He was in the right lane for several seconds before getting back over to the left.
Earlier you said both drivers were at fault. The driver taking the video did not "provoke" the cop by passing him. If anything, maybe he provoked him by tailgating him when he continued to drive under the speed limit, but even that is hard to tell from the video.

I was pretty clear what I stated. If you pull in front of someone like the 1st driver then, I can assume that its for the intent to provoke the party behind you. it was stupid since there was already evidence he was a hothead. You even stated that you do this this yourself. i.e. put your car in front of drivers to **** them off.

I don't really care who you are, where you're going, what kind of car you're driving or how po'd you get.
Your actions don't match the point you are trying to make. However they do explain your response to my post about being a responsible driver. (I'll take note of your "frustration" comment. )
Try again son. The provocation was moving the car back in front of the hot head cop. Why are you ignoring this?
As I said twice already, he did not do that. He was in the right lane for several seconds before getting back into the left lane, IMO to pass the car further up the road.
