Anyone else finding bank websites are down? Have you checked online banking and found the websites are down? I have held for 45 mins and cannot get an answer from tech support at my bank. It is not my net connex that has the problem. I checked online and there seem to be reports for all the above named banks in re: to sites going down.

What the heck? Have they been hacked????

Worried.

Please respond as to whether or not you are experiencing a problem. I am still holding trying to get an answer and report the outtage I am experiencing.

I've been on my account a couple of times today - no issues.

Just got an answer from tech support (BB&T) They are saying that there is a denial-of-service event going on at this present time, being caused by malicious traffic. The tech said 12 banks are undergoing the same problems at this time and this has been going on for "a while."

I needed to transfer some funds . . . not a good thing. :-(

They now have a notice up (just put it up) on BB&T's site. Haven't tried WF or BoA.

Glad you didn't have a problem!

Sometimes I think I am way too dependent on the internet and doing so much business online.

If you'd like, you can transfer those funds into my account and I'll be sure to get them right over to where you need them.

I may or may not be a Nigerian businessman. Or from Lexington.

Will you promise me a 25% return every two weeks?

Okay - just read that one can get on BB&T using a mobile app (different URL).

Guess I won't have to use Megax's services after all . . .

Asking everyone to check if they are having a problem with their online banking only contributes to any denial of service problem the banks may be experiencing.
