That should be Hopewell High district in Huntersville. It is as good as any other Charlotte-Mecklenburg High School. Not sure about middle or elementary schools.

Default Riverbend nowadays - any feedback

Does anyone have more current information about the RiverBend subdivision? Is crime/safety still an issue?

Also, any info on the builder Orleans and their work in RiverBend? Thanks.

Crime in riverbend is much lower then in most neighborhoods in the area. There is only one problem resident and he has been delt with. Its a great place to live, for the money!

I too am looking into Riverbend. One thing I have noticed is a lot of foreclosures... any updated news about the area?

Well.... it's another over priced neighborhood that has come crashing down because nobody can really afford those kinds of prices. There are literally dozens of these neighborhoods on the Catawba basin originally built by Crescent which itself has gone bankrupt. I'm not particularly fond of Riverbend if it is the place I am thinking of because it is next to the coal fired thermal plant and it seemed a bit isolated to me.
