The whole North Dakota thing... there's making a lot of money, and there's making GOOD money.
If you have to risk your life on an oil field or working swing shift at a factory, or driving 10 hours a day seven days a week you may make a LOT of money... but someone making a little less who spends evenings and weekends with their family and pursuing their interests, someone who isn't literally wearing their body away to make a paycheck; that's the guy making GOOD money.
I've always selected good money over a lot of money. Where would you rather work?
hey, to each their own...
Oh, and Mikey... only one of us is arguing. It isn't me. I feel sorry for your wife though.
Neither!!! LOL!!!! But I'm right there with ya. Quality of life far exceeds any huge paycheck!

I am sure there are plenty of people happy living in a double wide, eating baloney sandwiches for dinner….if it works for your Waxhawmom, more power to you….some of us strive for a bit more
Davidson, anywhere within Charlotte Hwy 4, downtown Concord, downtown Mooresville, downtown Cornelius, Mt. Holly, Cramerton, Belmont, old Ft. Mill.
Does this suffice for an answer?
We both know you're stretching and trying too hard... most of your choices are centered around man-made fake lake and/or way too far out from the city itself. Being obtuse for the sake of trying to drive home a point is disingenuous.

Trust me, I'm not losing sleep over any of this... I "argue" here for fun - you shouldn't pretend that you don't do the same thing. Otherwise this board would bore me to tears.

None of the places that I mentioned are centered around a lake and two of them are even inside Mecklenburg county. Cramerton, Belmont, Mt. Holly, and Ft. Mill are right on the county line just like UC. There is nothing disingenuous about it except maybe your response to answers to your question.
i.e You were not really expecting an answer.
