Does anyone know anything about this place? Is it romantic, good food, etc.? My husband and I were looking for a nice place to go out for dinner one night. Any feedback and/or suggestions would be great! TIA.

I've never been to the South Blvd location, but I would say that the Ballantyne location is a little more romantic in general. I've only been for drinks though. I hear the food is really good.

The S. Blvd location in older (although renovated) so for romantic places I agree with the above poster-- check out the Ballantyne location. Food is pretty decent.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there last week. She had the beef tournadoes and I had a pasta dish. It was quite nice.

They do take reservations.

Villa Antonio's is a MUST to visit in Charlotte. Either location is great, Ballantyne newer and fancier, but S. Blvd is fine, too. First time I went was at the age of 19 with my eventual husband. Asked my dad where to eat and he said to go there. We were wearing jeans and he said that would be fine. Hah! He loves a good joke. We showed up in jeans on a Friday night with no reservations, basically expecting a pizza joint. They didn't bat an eye, seated us and treated us wonderfully. The tuxedos and violins made me feel awkward, but the staff didn't! Food is great, and not as expensive as they could get away with. Yes, romantic, yes, great food. Now we go to the Ballantyne location because it's closer, but they have my strong recommendation all the way. You can't go wrong with that restaurant.
