Taste of Havana on Albermarle rd. My wife and eat there all the time. Very authentic.
I'm glad to hear you say this because,my husband and I like theceviche, the pork tenedrloin and the coconut flant here so much. I was beginning to think I had lost my abiltyi to be discriminating about latin food.
I am from South Florida and the one thing I miss more than anything is the little cuban coffee shops that you could walk up to and get a cafe con leche with a cuban pastry and only spend about $3. It was wonderful but I highly doubt there is anything like that here. Anybody know of one like this? I was also thinking this would be great to open in uptown but I don't know if anyone would even be interested in something like this unless they recognize cuban food/traditions.
Ooh I have check you out. I am from Miami and grew up in "Little Havana" section.
See you all soon!
