We have decided to move to Mooresville. My husband actually started his job at the beginning of December and loves it there so far. The family and I will join him at the beginning of January! So I'm not there yet, but he loves the area and the people and the job so far!
We chose to live in an area zoned for Iredell Statesville schools. I can't fully explain why, but we decided we'd rather be in that school district, so we focused our searches there. We made a trip to Mooresville for house shopping early November and should be closing on our house there in 11 days...fingers crossed!
Good luck with your decision. I saw in another post there will be a commute for your husband. Thankfully that was not part of our decision since my husband's job is IN Mooresville, so it ended up being an easy decision for us! If there's anything you think I can help you with, not having moved there yet, let me know!
