We're considering moving to Charlotte from the Rust Belt. Aside from the family relo research, I also own a couple small multifamily apartment buildings - totaling about 38 units -- and I'd like to continue investing locally if we move.
Any fellow investors on this board who might provide some intel on the market in general? Where I'm from, cash flow is king since we don't get big bumps in appreciation. I like to invest in "B" class properties in A/B areas.
Obviously it's all very, very local, but I would appreciate any info abuot typical cap rates, average appreciation, good REI clubs, growth areas/path of progress, etc.
Thanks for any help. Ultimately I'll need to line up RE attorney, agents, accountants, bankers/financing, management, etc.
Great city to spend all your money. The more you spend, the more you will get ......
