Will be going to see the Cure in a few weeks. We were wondering if anyone has experience with Uber there or Cabs. Can we reliably count on being able to get a ride to and from there from somewhere uptown? Especially getting out as if we are staying Uptown, we certainly don't want to get stuck. Is Uber running 9.9x surge pricing out there after a show? Is there a cab line? Just trying to figure out some options as we may try to hit a few breweries in the afternoon before heading out there (though boo, most don't open until 4:00!) so if we have to drive ourselves out there, it will be limiting.
I drive for uber, and it never reaches 9.9 surge out there. It will sometimes get to 4.5-4.9 with a popular act(jimmy buffet dave matthews this year so far) if you're going back to uptown it will cost your 60-80 after the show.

Good to know, thanks. Do they have a special area for Uber pick ups or do we need to head to a main road?

the pickup is in lot B. If you want to save about 20 bucks though I would walk up to harris houston rd, and pavilion blvd. It's a 5 minute walk and a lot of drivers stage there, cause they can zip out harris houston and avoid all traffic.(very few people know about this.) I would also have my driver drop me off there, and again avoid sitting in traffic. My riders love it. Look it up on google maps

Any updates on the above post? This was posted 2016?
Trying to plan for a concert.
Hilton Garden Inn in Concord Mills offers a third party shuttle for around 20 bucks.
