Please recommend your boarding facility and/or Pet Sitting service. Thank you!
We went to Bowzie Wowzie in Fort Mill, SC for our two boxers and we really liked it there. It is $20 a day, $30 for 2 dogs. They seemed to be well cared for in our absence.
We've boarded our beagle at Top Honors in Waxhaw and Happy Tails Kennel in Concord (we've lived in both areas), and both places have been very good with our dog. The prices are pretty reasonable too.
Please recommend your boarding facility and/or Pet Sitting service. Thank you!
We have used Bowzee Wowzee (in Fort Mill, SC) and were very pleased...but, the last couple of times they have been all booked up (very good groomer there too by the way). Anyway I came on this site awhile back and Carolina_guy had recommended Continental Boarding (Charlotte, NC). We now use them all the time (my neighbors have started using them too).
I've read (on this board) great things about Palmetto Kennels in Lancaster, South Carolina.

When I called to inquire about their facilities I spoke to a very nice woman, who explained everything I needed to know in great detail.
We will be boarding our dog there this spring.
Make your reservations early, they book up very quickly.
I will need to board my beagle mix in May. Can anyone recommend places that are a bit closer in to the South Charlotte area? We live near Fairview Road and some of the recommended places are a bit further than we'd prefer.
We use Club K-9 (In NoDa area). This is not just boarding but also dog day care (lol). There are really no kennels to put the dogs in except for at night and naptime. The dogs pretty much can run free. Your dog has to pass a temperment test to be accepted. The owner of this facility also owns The Dog Bar which is just down the street.
